About 6-4-3

Travis and Kyle are cousins who grew up less than a mile apart, and baseball has been the thread running through their whole lives. They were just kids when they started playing Little League together, and the game never let them go. Batting lessons, select teams, long summers on the diamond. A love for baseball has always been something they've shared.

Years later, they're still neighbors, still coaching, and still doing it together. Now as fathers and husbands, they spend their weekends on the same sideline, coaching their sons on the same team. The circle hasn't changed much, it's just gotten a little bigger.

That circle grew to include Matt Carpenter, a 3X MLB All-Star and Silver Slugger winner who shares more than just a passion for the game with Kyle. The two played together at TCU, so when it came time to build something meaningful around baseball, Matt wasn't just a natural fit, he was family.

Together, the three of them built 6-4-3 Baseball to pass that love for the game on to the next generation. They believe baseball is more than a sport. It's a vehicle for teaching discipline, resilience, accountability, and the kind of life lessons that stick long after the final out.

Baseball is tough. It demands everything you have. But that's exactly the point.....to STAY GRITTY!

Our Mascot

Every great brand has a face, and ours is Gritty Baller.

We wanted a mascot who embodies the well-balanced ball player. Someone who is physically tough and mentally resilient, but also confident, cool, and knows how to stay loose and have fun. The best ball players know when to flip the switch and when to dial it back, and Gritty lives in both worlds. Sometimes he's gritting his teeth and getting after it. Sometimes he's the coolest guy in the dugout, blowing bubbles without a care in the world.

That's the player we want to inspire. Tough when it counts. Loose when it doesn't. Always showing up ready to compete.

Stay Gritty!

what does 6-4-3 mean?

It’s the famous double play! When it comes to keeping the scorebook in baseball, each position on the field has its own number associated to it. With a runner on first, if the Shortstop (6) fields the ball and throws to the Second Baseman (4), who then throws to the First Baseman (3), the scorebook keeper would record that as a 6-4-3 double play!
